Leadership Randolph County, a nine month program designed for emerging and existing leaders, launched their first program this past Thursday and Friday at the Arkansas 4-H Center. This program, sponsored by Black River Technical College, included each participant taking part in a personality assessment to learn what strengths and weaknesses are associated with each personality group. The class also participated in several team building/communication exercises facilitated by the 4-H Center. On Friday afternoon the class was trained on safety precautions before completing the Ropes Course, an obstacle course located 25 ft in the trees. At the end of the program each participant was asked to vote for a peer that demonstrated strong leadership, the winner of the September Powerball was Mr. Gary Jackson.
