Cataloging, preserving, and displaying the heritage of Randolph County, Arkansas, USA.
What are some features that make your business unique?
We tell the story of Randolph County.
History
Our museum was founded by Five Rivers Historic Preservation as part of the 2006 Pocahontas, Arkansas sesquicentennial celebration. The museum is one of several lasting creations of that celebration.
The museum was purchased by Linda Bowlin and Joe Martin and donated to Five Rivers Historic Preservation.
What do you see for the future of your business?
More community involvement like hosting the opening night of the Founder’s Day Festival. We hope to continue having events such as Cooking with Carol, school tours, Stroll the Square events, local author autograph sessions, and children activities.
We are hoping to have the upstairs renovated for an event and reception center soon.
