Randolph County Heritage Museum Readies for Christmas
As the holidays draw near, the volunteer staff at the Randolph County Heritage Museum is completing plans for a festive Christmas season.
The museum gift shop has a large assortment of locally authored books, DVDs, clothing, jewelry, glassware, games , toys and other items for Christmas shoppers.
Plans are being finalized for the upcoming Pocahontas Christmas Parade, Silent Auction held in the “Old” Courthouse and Mrs. Santa’s Kitchen at the Museum , Monday, December 9. The museum and other businesses around the historic court square will be open late for Christmas visitors.
Mrs. Santa’s Kitchen will open at 4:30 p.m. with delicious food items such as chili, soups, hot dogs, polish sausage, drinks, and desserts. The Museum Annex will host a toy show through the month of January. Come do your Christmas shopping locally with us. All proceeds from these events will be used for support of the Randolph County Heritage Museum.
