POCAHONTAS, AR Mar. 11– On Monday, March 7, Black River Technical College welcomed the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and members of the community to the Pocahontas campus for Business After Hours. Business After Hours, a networking event, sponsored by the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce gives business leaders the opportunity to learn more about other local businesses and share ideas. Dr. Martin Eggensperger, BRTC president, discussed the progress BRTC has been making and showcased some of the programs BRTC has to offer.
Dr. Eggensperger expressed how happy BRTC is to have hosted the event by stating, “We were excited for the opportunity to gather with our fellow chamber members in person. We’re always looking for an excuse to showcase BRTC and talk about who we are and what sets us apart from other colleges.”
Jordan's Kwik Stop Opens
CONGRATULATIONS to Jordan’s Kwik Stop on opening the #65 store in Pocahontas on Wednesday, March 16. Making it the third location in town, the new store sits on Highway 62 next to Orscheln Farm and Home. A ribbon-cutting sponsored by the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce was held on their opening day. There was a gas special price of $1.65 at the pumps, with dozens of cars packing the parking lot and both lanes on Highway 62.

A large group of women in business gathered on the steps of the New Randolph County Courthouse to commemorate their role in making Randolph County the best that it can be. These women fill roles from elected positions to boutique management.
