2018 AGRICULTURAL APPRECIATION DAY EXPO

February 2, 2018

Black River Technical College

Randolph County Development Center

8:00 A.M. – 2 P.M.

In an effort to recognize the importance of agriculture in our area the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce are planning an Agricultural Appreciation Expo February 2nd, 2018.  The success of the former Expos reinforced the notion that the agricultural community not only needs but also desires us to acknowledge our appreciation of what they do.  Our goal is to make 2018’s event bigger and better than the previous events.  The event will be held in conjunction with the U of A Cooperative Extension Services Production meetings at the Black River Technical College Randolph County Development Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting specialty seminars from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30.  In addition to the seminars, booths featuring farm products and services will be open from 8:00 am to 2:00 p.m.  This event will be of interest to all farmers including hobby farms and those who produce row crops, poultry, and livestock.

This letter is being sent to you as an invitation to participate in our Agriculture Expo by either setting up a display or providing monetary support for the event. As you well know, events such as this are very costly to promote, and we want this to be a successful display of support to the farm community of Randolph and Lawrence Counties.

Applications, with payment, are due to the chamber office by December 29th, 2017.
