With great excitement, we announce the 2019 Agriculture Appreciation Expo will be held on February 15th at the BRTC Development Center. The Lawrence and Randolph County Chambers of Commerce are joining forces with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Offices to recognize the importance of agriculture in our area and want to give you the opportunity to do the same. The Expos have grown in attendance every year and we want 2019 to have an even bigger turnout. These events can only grow with your help. Please join us for a great day of learning, networking, teaching, and fun. A portion of the proceeds will go to Agri scholarships. The scholarship proceeds will be split equally between the two counties.
The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting specialty seminars. In addition to the seminars, booths featuring farm products and services will be open from 8:00 am to 2:00 p.m. This event will be of interest to all farmers including hobby farms and those who produce row crops, poultry, and livestock.
This letter is being sent to you as an invitation to participate in our Agriculture Expo by either setting up a display or providing monetary support for the event. As you well know, events such as this are very costly to promote, and we want this to be a successful display of support to the farm community of Lawrence and Randolph Counties. This is the 5th year of the Ag Expo and each year we have averaged an excess of 400 attendees. If you are interested in setting up a display or being a sponsor please complete the enclosed form and return, with payment, to the chamber office by December 31st, 2018.
We appreciate your support, and hope to see you on Friday, February 15th, 2019!
